Since its launch in 2013, RightWisconsin has been at the epicenter of the conservative movement in Wisconsin. It’s my very real pleasure and honor to work with the talented editors and contributors who have made it a daily must-read.

So it is with mixed feelings that I mark this transition: At the end of this month Right Wisconsin will have a new look, a new home, and new management.

I’m delighted that James Wigderson, who has served ably as the site’s assistant editor, will be taking over as editor-in-chief. I have long regarded him as one of the state’s savviest and most insightful commentators. Since January, James has served ably as assistant editor, but now assumes overall management for the site. Frankly, I don’t think I could leave it in better hands.

The timing is also ideal.

Wisconsin will remain at the center of American politics and conservatives here will continue to be leaders of conservative reform. And with James in charge, you can expect the same level of insight, commentary, and occasional snark.

Because RightWisconsin has been a labor of love for me, I plan to continue to contribute to its pages and to prod and poke my fellow conservatives here as well as other venues. (As I said when I “retired” last year, I’m not going away, but you’ve probably already noticed that.)

Thanks once again to all of our readers, contributors, and supporters. I think the best is yet to come.
