Parents are now able to get information about good schools in their area right on their iPhones.

The School Finder WI app, launched by the Wisconsin Federation for Children (WFC), uses information from the statewide schools report cards using the parent’s exact location to inform them about the quality of schools in their area.

“We believe every child deserves a world-class education,” says Justin Moralez, Wisconsin state director for the American Federation for Children. “The new School Finder WI app is a strong step in helping parents get the information they need to choose the right school for their child – whether public, private or charter.”

According to WFC, users can use the app to “evaluate schools available in their area on an interactive map, see ratings, find school contact information and enrollment details, and sign up for notifications for application deadlines.”
